Today the Moon, Tomorrow The Sun (at the Earl)

Friday, August 16th

Time: 8:30pm to late

Why go: Run, don’t walk to this special event. One of the best local bands is back playing in ATL after a long hiatus!

Scott Weiland Purple at the Core Tour (at Center Stage)

Wednesday, August 21st

Time: 9pm

Why go: My favorite rocker is coming solo to the ATL and doing only Core and Purple, STP‘s first two platinum albums. YES, PLEASE. I think I’ll be in the front row. I’ve heard he comes on late and messes up the words, but that’s OK with me. He’s a stellar performer.
